How soon can I go on the pill?

Just wondering if I can get on the pill now? or do I have to wait until after my 6 week check

My HV told me that I need to get back on it within 21 days, but the docs said that is only if you are going to start having sex again by that point!

I think you can go as early as you wish. And I think the sooner the better

I went and got my pill a couple days after giving birth. My doctor told me to keep it for when i started my first period again and start taking it on the first day so thats what i did. Which was about........6 weeks after giving birth. wasnt impressed it lasted for three weeks tho!
