How Many Months TTC

Hello,

I am wondering how long you were TTC before you got a positive result?

we talked about it on the sunday, I got my coil removed the following friday and I was pregnant by the next weekend.
a bit of a whirlwind but I figured I have nine months to get used to it and organise myself!

wish i could get a BFP that quick - its driving me nuts, i am a VERY impatient person though lol

we started TTC December 15th 2006 and still no joy BUT i havent had a period yet and should have been due on today, but not!!! so, keep your fingers crossed!

hey,
i came off the pill in february 2005 and didnt get a BFP until may 2005. Unfortunately i miscarried at 5 weeks . I waited until my next af to try again and fortunatly got pregnant on that cycle (got my BFP on 21st july).

I had a mc back in May my AF took about six weeks to arrive so been trying since beg of July got my +pos middle of December. So took us about six months. I took the magic Meds and baby asprin and DH took zinc for the last month and we struck gold.

I came off the pill and it took me 5 months to get Pg but sadly I miscarried before 10 weeks.
Then it took me around 4 months to get Pg again which ended in a second miscarriage before 10 weeks.
Then third time lucky, I started charting and temping and got pregnant in 2 months and here I am

I got pregnant within a month of coming off the pill.

It may well have been the first time we made love if my dates were correct.

it took us roughly 5 months to conceive (it is still early days) and that was after coming off the pill too .

we got pg on our second month of trying, after I came off the pill.

I got pregnant the first month. Sadly I miscarried on the 2nd December. Started TTC again straight away but got AF on 2nd January. Hopefully this will be my month though I'm not getting my hopes up though, I keep telling myself it will probably take a few months this time.

I was having fertility problems as i suffered with pcos so all in all ive had been trying for near 4 years and had no joy until now (found out i was pregnant just before xmas) .

Hi

First time it took us about 16 months - but I had been on the dreaded depo injection so it can take up to two years to fully get out of your system. Came off the injection in the April 2005 and was pregnant August 2006.

But we had a miscarriage in the October - amazingly, I fell pregnant almost 1 month later, so the second time was much easier...

It took us 4 calendar months, but only 3 of my stupidly long cycles! I came off the pill at the end of august 2006 and conception date was probably 22nd december 2006.

Now I've just got to get through the next 2 months until after my 12 week scan and less stress hopefully!

I fell within 2 months of stopping the pill for 11 years

I'm very very lucky - didn't realise so many people had problems conceiving

I fell on the 3rd month after stopping the pill. We did lots of bedding that month compared to the other 2.

It seems like lots of people seem to fall between 2-5 months if there aren't any problems, this is only month 2 for us, be hopefully we won't have to wait too long, fingers crossed.

I was just interested to see how long others on this site had taken to get a positive, thanks to all of you

hi, it took us 5 months from oct 05 to get pregnant then i miscarried at 11wks

it took us another 5 months after that to get this bfp and alls well this time

i hope you dont wait too long either, firt month i charted n used magic meds is the month i got this bfp so i recommend that
