how many cm's was your baby at 12 wk

just looked at my 12 week scan ours was 6.2cm nearly the same as yours!!

At exactly 12 weeks babies are all pretty much the same size - which is why they use the scan for dating.

It's the days that make a big difference - they're growing so quickly at this stage so people having scans just a few days apart might see a huge difference in length

when I went for my private scan a couple of weeks ago, they told me they don't measure the length as its inaccurate, as bubba may not be straight. Thats how come I think they got my date wrong by a week as bubba was very curled up. But they took measurements of head, abdomon and thigh bone at private scan and they all made me original date. So sorry my point is they told me bubba was about 11 to 12cm and that was at 15 weeks, so yeah that is big and can't surely be right?? Sure you're dates are right? x x

yes according from my last AF i should have been 12+3 and got knocked back 3 days x

Not sure then according to any books etc that I've read its about 6.5cm at 12 weeks. Maybe question it with your midwife x x

It could be because you got the measurements off the top of your scan picture maybe? I think mine said about 13cm on the scan pic which clearly wasn't right but on my notes it said about 5 1/2 cm I think.

11cm does sound quite big for 12 weeks...xxx

yeah I've just checked my scans and it has 13cm on it, think u could be right and bubba was about 4.3cm, I was 11wk 1day. The midwife stuck my scan report in the back of my notes. U need to look at the CRL x x

I totally did the same thing, I thought wow babies big already! But being bored one day I went through everything and thought 'oh....lol'. Easy mistake

I have no idea! lol! I thought maybe it could be uterus size or something like that. :S I dont think it actually says anywhere.
