How long does implantation bleeding last?

Hi,

Leading on from my last thread, I’m still only spotting and nothing on a pad. It’s been for the last 5/6 days and I’m still having pregnancy symptoms. I’ve tried to google how long implantation bleeding lasts and some say it’s 2-4 days and others say it can last 8 days can someone please help. I really need to know if I’m pregnant and when I should take a test next. I’ve worked out all the dates and I’m thinking it would’ve been too early to take the test when I did.

Okay, I don’t have regular periods I have one every three or four months so I’m not due on for another 2 months which is why it’s been hard to tell if it’s just a spontaneous bleed or not but it’s been so much like implantation bleeding. I have no idea when I ovulate.

If i am totally honest i don't think its very common for implantation bleeding to happen for more than a few days. If you have been bleeding for 5/6 days now i would definitely assume you would be getting an answer on a sensitive test by now.
Have you been to the doctors about your periods?

I have also just looked through your first post on the forum... you say that the guy didn't use contraception at first but did when he finished.... why would you think that you are pregnant if he used a condom by the time he finished?

Yeah I’ve been to the doctors and that’s why I have periods every 3 months because they put me on medication so that I could have periods and have a cycle. I haven’t taken a test recently the last one I took was before the bleeding started. Should I take another one now?
