how long do you bleed?

As some of you know I had a m/c a week and 2 days ago and Im still bleeding. I had clots and more pains yesterday. How long should you bleed for afterwards? I really hate it cos I hate wearing pads, it makes me feel really unhygenic (sorry for TMI!)

Any advice would be appreciated

For me it was spotting, heavy and then light for 2 weeks none stop.

I bled extremly heavily and ended up in hospital. Calmed down for 5 days but was still light for a further 4 so that's 9 days in total.

14 days for me....very bad for about 7 days, then more like AF for the next 7 days. Then 2 weeks later, a normal AF!

i m/c last thursday, had had spotting on the tues and weds beforehand then started to bleed heavily thursday morning which is why we went to the hosp and they confirmed...........
bled heavy thurs,fri, sat and sunday, it started to ease off late sunday (the way af woulld) and by monday morning had all but stopped. i dont think this is typical cos when i m/c a few years back i remember bleeding very heavily for a good 10 days or more. dont know if that helps?? the doc said to me you can bleed for up to 2 weeks.other than i still feel alittle sore inside(slight bruised feeling?) my body seems to be back to normal. i know what you mean bout sani pads though, they make me feel unclean! pm me if you want, happy to chat

Hi Kirsty, I bled for about 8/9 days, the firsts 5 very heavy. Sorry to hear your sad news xxxxx
