How long before having another child?

There was 2yrs 10mnths between my first and 2nd.

My eldest was just getting potty trained and starting pre school but still very clingy and wanting to sleep in my bed most nights.

I was shattered however it wasnt as bad looking back as i thought.

This time my youngest will be 3yrs 4mnths, she is already at preschool and toilet trained and a fab sleeper so i think it should be alot easier this time.

I think 3 years is a nice gap personally.

My cousin had hers 9 months apart and they are VERY close as siblings but mum found it totally exhausting in the early days.

i got pregnant when Dior was 3 months old, it was planned so many people think Harley must have been a mistake

i love it, thay are so close and love each other soooo much. but i miss 1 on 1 time
Harley does get pushed out god i feel bad saying that!!!!!

but Dior is 2 and into every thing entertaining and it makes people forget about Harley and because it was not so long ago Dior was Harleys age people dont get so excited about it

ild like the idea of Dior just starting school then having Harley as then ild still be able to share time alone with Harley.

but i dont no its 50/50
but once they are older i think it will be great i hope they are close.

but its good at the moment too as they have the same interests with tv shows and toys and games etc

i really want another 2. i hope to have them real close aswell but not for another 7ish yrs. il be high up in my job by then and should have a mortage. ild have 10 babies. i think i was made to be a mummy machine just like my mum (she has 5 and wants more)

We're gonna wait until Sophie is about 4/5 and is at school, as i don't think i'd be able to cope with 2 babies really close together, i struggle sometimes with just Sophie!

I find Zac hard enough I salute the mummies that have two close together!

We would like to go for number 2 when Zac starts school...we only have a two bed coucil house though so unless we have another boy we will have to move, another reason not to have one for a while!

how did your 2nd pregnancy go with it being so close to your first? did you have any problems / did you find it harder than the 1st?

Hiya, i had good pregnancy with both no complications, but the doc did tell me you should wait 1 year before thinking of getting preg again as it takes a year for your stomach muscles to go back down, so i think this was the reason i was so big 2nd time round! it was hard work when i was big and Dior was 9months and jumping on me. i was working long hours looking after Dior and being preg, so it was impossible to have a sleep in the day.

but 2nd labour is so much faster. with Dior i was in hospital for 18bhours with Harley 45mins

lol it was horrible but you forget bout it, hopes so worth all of the pain and the sick, she is my whole world and everything in it
