How long after a baby should you have a period?

Cabhan was 8 weeks old yesterday and I still have not had a period.
I was given noriday contraceptive pill 12 days post pregnancy and started to have lots of problems with it, causing heavy bleeding with clots. I was told off health visitor to go to a and e and to stop taking my pill which I did.. The day after stopping taking it out stopped bleeding so had sex (unprotected) by accident.

All together I stopped taking it for 4 days and then decided to go back on it which caused the bleeding again but this time one side of my body went numb, so went to the family planning clinic and she sent me to the hospital again as it can be a sign of blood clot and with me having varicose veins during pregnancy I was much higher risk.

Everything turned out to be fine and since then I've not took it for about 3 weeks now, no bleeding, no periods, using condoms is there a chance I could be pregnant again from that 1 silly time unprotected or do I sound safe?

yes there's Definatley a chance you could be pregnant, I'd take a test just so you know either way, and if your not (and im assuming your not ttc) go see your gp and get yourself on some contraception otherwise you may well become pregnant again before you know it, the pill you have is obviously not doing you any good xx

AF started today, worry over! I can go and have my coil fitted tomorrow.. Excited!!!
