Hello ladies, how are we all getting on with wtt? Only a few weeks to go for some of us as August isn't far away now. Although I'm still unsure when we can start.

I'm still on the job hunt, applied for a few and had 1 interview and 1 coming on Wed which I am hopeful about. It's for a home carer job so should fit in with family life pretty well as evening and weekends and my cousin works for them and can hopefully put a good word in for me.

If I get this job then maybe we will ttc in oct/nov, but still secretly hoping for sept xx

Hi Kanga, keeping my fingers crossed for you. Do let us know how you get on. Have you spoken to your OH about still wanting to ttc asap? Did you find that having #2 was huge hit on your finances?
Big hugs xx

It hasn't been too bad as had all our stuff from the eldest plus had 2 boys so not had to buy many clothes. I'm breastfeeding so no formula expenses either. Food bill starting to go up now he is 9.5months, but not too bad. Biggest problem we have in finances going pear shaped because I've been on ssp for 9 weeks then lost my job. Plus we just moved and currently paying for 2 houses! So need to get finances back in check and then be prepared for me to be on ssp from 6-14weeks pregnant as I have done my last 2 pregnancies for hyperemesis so finances stretched again then.

Not really spoke about it to hubby, but think he is happy to ntnp soon as long as I get a job asap xx

I got offered the job straight away :) training to start next week :) so so happy! Ttc may not need to be delayed too long :) xx

Congrats!!! Fab news. Good luck in your new job:)
Xx

So nice to see us back here kanga!! Xx

Have spoken with DH today and although he is happy to go with the flow my sensible head to saying to wait to ttc :( Finances are only just going to get back on track in Sept/Oct and given my track record with HG (sickness) in tri1/2 and being signed off work on sick on ssp (again!) we really shouldn't ttc yet. It makes me sad, but I would rather than have the stresses of money over our heads, so we have agreed to ntnp in late Oct - Nov/Dec time, maybe early Jan dependant on when ovulation happens. then hold off til June to avoid the xmassy months. I'm sure i will still pop in on here in the mean time :) xx

Aw kanga, what an emotional rollercoaster this must have been for you. Well done for staying sensible. If I was to think sensibly we'd probably start ttc next spring instead of this autumn just to doubly make sure we're ok financially but I'm not that sensible;-)
You never know, you might catch in your ntnp months. Will you ditch the opk's and actually ntnp? I bet it's hard if you know your cycles.
x

I probably won't opk but I have had 2 ov's whilst breastfeeding and I knew exactly when it was and to expect af 13 days later and I have been right so will probably still notice the signs so it will kinda be ntnp but not totally lol

Finding it hard to not think about at the mo as we were so close to ntnp but I know it is for the best. We aren't on any birth control other than condoms so you never know lol

Oh wow Kanga, happy to see you'll be back for bubba #3!!

Will be keeping an eye on you.

X

I can't stay away, I do lurk about the other sections a little bit. All I can think about is ttc and ovulation! So desperate to start ttc yet not at the same time.

Hope you, James and Bee are doing well? This last year has flown by and I can't believe James will be 11m in a weeks time and then it's his birthday! Crazy how far we have since joining pf in 2011! xx
