I moved to a small village several months back and when i found out that three other women were all ttc i thought it was fantastic!
I have all these visions of sharing babysitting and going to places together and just having someone to speak to face to face.
Well...
One clearly isn't interested in friends and the other had an ectopic pregnancy so isn't trying for a while.
The third is pregnant, i am aiming to have a child in the same school year as her baby, but she is turning out to be so unreliable that my husband hates her - and he doesn't normally hate anyone!
She just strings me along all the time and then lets me down at the very last minute, always by text even though she has my home number.
It has nothing to do with her pregnancy btw.
I would normally just forget about her, but i keep thinking that it would be so nice to have a friend living so close with a child the same age as mine. We are miles away from the next village...
How important is it to have friends with babies when you have a baby?
