I'm just sitting here, on a Saturday night, thinking how my life has changed so much since becoming pregnant, not that I'm complaining. My Saturday nights now consist of a big dinner, and DVD and early night. This time last year I was at the Scottish Grand National... :) my Sunday's are spent decorating the house, or shopping for baby stuff... Last year we would have been hungover! And I have to say I'm loving it... Can't wait till my wee baby is here!

Pointless thread, just wondered how everyone else's life has changed.

Same here , a Saturday night would be spent either recovering from Friday nights antics or getting ready for a night out. Now I'm in my comfies, 2 rented DVDs waiting to be watched and hubby on his way back from Asda with some treats. Wouldn't change a thing! xx

It didn't really change for us as we were pretty much having a movie night at home and a big meal and maybe a walk to the beach. Sunday every store is closed here so no shopping for us :( we usually have a barbecue in the garden or a picnic and then catching up with some work....
What changed generally is that now by 10 during the week and 11 during the weekends we are in bed.... Oh and the naps... I do need a nap every day

The major change is my Tiredness though... Usually on Saturday mornings we have epic shopping that lasts from
10- 3 with a lunch downtown meantime...
Today I was tired after 30 min at the mall  we were back by 12 and I am still sore all over:shock:

I pretty hope i get my strength back after birth or I will be vicious....

Today I was even wondering If I will even have the strength for labour lol

well my friday nights usualy consisted of me red bull and half bottle of vodka with me lappy slowly getting merrier n merrier lmao and clogging up everyones fb page with utube 80s music hahahahhaa this is wat give it away for me ppl noticed i was not getting trashed no more and there fb wall was quiet for week lol i dont mind will give my liver a gd break lol xxxx

I'd normally either be out with friends or hubby, or at home with a bottle of wine half chugged by now.

Tonight, I baked cookies and scones. I'm on probably my 8th glass of water, and its not even 10.30pm yet and I can feel my head dipping lol.

How times have changed lol. I wouldn't wish for it any other way either, she's wriggling as I type this and I'm the proudest mummy on the planet :) xx

I love how things are now.
To be honest I hadn't drunk for quite a while pre pregnancy because I thought it might help my chances on conceiving. But way before then I used to go out most weekends drinking.
How things have changed! I totally don't miss it one bit. Even when baby is here I just don't see myself drinking again.. This has made me realize there are other nice things to do. Besides, I want to set a good example to my child hehe

Mine have changed consoderably my fridays and saturdays consisted of going out and sundays were recovery day.
At first I hated the stayin in part but now I'm used to it. Did manage to get out last night for a couple of hours, some friends hired out a club so went along, needless to say I was home by 10 but it was nice to cacth up.and see people I hadn't seen for ages. Feeks like if I don't make the effort noone else will x

I was actually going to post a thread about this! I had 2 of my clo lsest friends over last night haven't seen them for ages so I caved and said they could come. Usually a night in with them consists of getting very drunk and being up all night! I said I didn't mind them drinking and Oh and my brother who lives here to were with us. By midnight after pushing the boat out with 2 cans of coke and a bag of haribo! lolI was shattered and went to be leaving the rest of them having fun!

Now I have two drunken friends asleep on the sofa and I just want to get on with the housework! I wouldn't change having Lo in there for the world but Its a bit sad that everythings changed so much!

I used to be very active & then whiz around the house doing stuff. Currently sat in bed trying to shake my head ache and will do things at a much slower pace!

Oh my days of red wine and late night movies have gone, in bed by 19:30!

That's how I roll!x

Before BFP I would normally be out at least one weekend night (pub and or dinner with OH / friends) or we'd have a nice meal in and open a bottle of wine!

So the biggest difference for me is not drinking, and also as I am tired I go to bed well before Midnight so I am up early Saturday and Sunday... long gone are lay-in's until 11am

xxxxxxxxxx

Hubby and I were discussing this just on Saturday. We went out for a nice lunch and I was saying that soon we won't be having "quiet lunches out", they will be noisey and probably involve my boobs being whacked out and baby being changed.

In summer we used to go to festivals, have picnics with friends and spend some days in beer gardens. The picnics will hopefully continue when Sausage joins us - but no festivals this year :)

We enjoy going out with our friends for a drink and a boogie, but we knew we were growing out of it a bit before we got the BFP. Our friends are still out galivanting most nights at weekends, I sometimes pop by and have a fizzy pop before they get too wasted :)

Gawd - I hadn't even thought about the summer!!

Summer for me always involves a lot of being outside (normally outside a pub  ) I am a bit of a sunworshipper as well.....

This year will be a huge change for me but bring it on... provided we get a summer of course!

xxxxxxx

Just think about getting out with your wee baby in the pram, in the park! Fingers crossed for some decent weather :) x
