i have a blender and i know i need some ice cube trays with lids?
so , i peel and wash my fruit such as apple and pear.
then steam
then blend. do i blend the fruit seperatly , ie pear first?
then pour in ice cube trays
then cool
then freeze.

then ready to feed.
get a couple of cubes from the freezer .
do i thaw out on the side , ie on a plate for a couple of hours?
then heat through on the hob
then allow to cool then feed baby.

i this right, what steps do you do?
sorry i really do not have a clue

sounds like you got it hun!
as for the doing them seperately- i started by doing one fruit/veg at a time introducing them and then once i established that taste into his menu i would mix it with another one- so like peach and banana!!

no you cant freeze banana - well you can but it turns black.

I do pretty much the same, except don't bother with ice cube trays with lids - buy cheap silicone ones and put them in freezer bags. Then once frozen I push the cubes out and put them in labelled resealable freezer bags.

When defrosting I just put them into her little food pots with lids and leave on the side or if I forget I defrost them in the microwave (or you could do it on the hob). This is fine as long as you then heat them up to really hot and allow to cool.

Also you amy have to add some boiled water as you blend to stop it being too thick e.g. I did parsnip yesterday and had to add loads of water just to get it to blend (it all just stuck in a big lump!)

You do have a clue as everything you said was right!!
