How did you choose?

OH said he'd like a shortlist of 5 names that I like that he can choose from. That way we are certain to have a name that I like aswell as one that he approves of and it's fair for both of us.

How have you chosen? Did your OHs want much input?

My girls shortlist so far is Macey, Sienna, Florence, Eva and Aurelia and I'm pleased to say I'd be over the moon with whichever one he picked!

We only had one boys name but never a girls name (we were team yellow)

I was 9 days overdue and we still didn't have a girls name. Thank God bub was a boy.

Thanks ladies! I'm really happy with the girls names we've got but I need to get 5 boys names together too!

I'm struggling because I want something a bit unusual but also that I don't get bored of after a few years. I really like Harvey, Malik, Jackson, Harrison and Cassidy but everyone else's opinions are putting me off

We couldn't decide on names at all!

I liked Hollie, and Abigail, which OH didn't like, and he liked Lucy, which I didn't like.

We had zero names for a boy! Lol

We chose to wait till she was born to see if there was one that suited, and when she was born OH said "she looks like a Hollie " so we went with that x

Oh Macey is lovely. My little girl is Eva But I'm having another girl now and already have a short list of 4 names but might add Macey now!

For our first pregnancy we had Jack or Harry for a boy but settled on Jack before the 12week mark. We had Hannah for a girl.

For our second pregnancy we had Harry or Jessica and got a Harry.

We loved Sienna when pregnant with Jack but wanted more traditional names x

I really like Jack and Harry. But would perhaps have Jack spelt Jak just to be awkward! And Harrison is one of my top 5 boys at the moment so Harry would be a nickname anyway I guess!

LyndseyM what other names do you have? It sounds like you have good taste!

I have a son called Ashton and a daughter called Eva. For this little one I can't decide between - Juliet, Freya, Summer, Farrah, and now I'm def adding Macey I really like that - our surname is McKean though so its a MM but I think it sounds nice xxx

I absolutely LOVE Farrah but want Karen (my mum's name) for middle name so think Fa and Ka might be a bit much. Ashton is a great boys name too
