This question is driving me mad!

I am 7+2 sore bb, bloated, vomiting at least once a day, backache.

But keep thinking is it possible that this is all psychological and I will go in for a scan and there will be nothing there?!?

Having an earlier scan on 16ty at 9 weeks as this is Iui pregnancy don't know if I can wait that long! Did another test this morning just to make sure!

Anybody else going insane???

Yes I am crazy too! I have had a scan at 6 and 8 weeks and after the scans you still end up feeling the same! You just can't believe how much is going on in there! Once you have your scan it will feel so much more real! You just count down the days to the scan don't you! Xx

you sound like me in September! I was trying to explain all this to the sonographer in case she didn't find anything and she was just like *eye roll* 'lets just have a look shall we?' Then she put it on and instantly found a baby. Hehe

if you have your positive test and the symptoms try not to worry. You can only wait and see for your first scan. Think positive :)

When I told the sonographer I was scared she was going to tell me there was nothing there and it had all been a big mistake, she said loads of people say that. Made me feel like I was less of a loonatic! I'm fast approaching my due date now with a little wriggler and it still feels so surreal at times - I'll catch a glimpse my bump in the mirror and think "omg there's a baby in there"

So fwiw your feelings are totally normal / common and they possibly won't change even after the scans!

Thanks ladies glad to know I'm not the only one! Bet the sonographer here this all the time.

Haven't got my booking in appointment until end of November will be almost 11 weeks, hoping I still get a scan at 12 and I don't have to wait! Xx

Sounded like me too, I was sure (even with loads of symptoms) then when it came to scan day that I would be empty, so I brought a Doppler. They are amazing but I can imagine they would cause alot of worry if you can't find heart beat.
But I think what your feeling/thinking is what we have all thought at some stage xx

We paid for a private scan at 7 weeks and - to our surprise - got to see a little blob with a heartbeat. Fast forward four weeks to the 11 week scan, I had convinced myself that there wouldn't be a baby in there. Sonographer found it straight away, wiggling around and actually looking like a mini human...most amazing feeling in the world. Yet, I still have a hard time wrapping my head around the fact that there's a baby in my belly. Gotta go back for another scan next week, and by Wednesday, I'll probably be back at the 'no way there is a baby'-stage.

It's comforting to see we're all having these thoughts...but I seriously think we also need to relax! If someone digs up a magic recipe on how to stop worrying...please share. ;)

Yes, me too.

I keep looking at the test again to make sure I didn't imagine it lol.

I'm also stupidly worried about m/c or rather, missed miscarriage, so I went and got a clearblue twinpack cheap off amazon, but they've not arrived yet.

I plan to take one of them as soon as they arrive, and the other one a few weeks later at about 8 weeks.
Hopefully the + will come up strong and quickly and that will help me relax and trust it.

I was exactly like that!! As I sat waiting for my 12 weeks scan I as shaking. Just thinking what if the pregnancy tests lied to me, what if I'd mc, what if it was all I my had, would they find a heartbeat. So glad my OH was there. And when she said oh yes there's one and a very good heartbeat and is a bit of a wriggler. I was so relieved! Keep looking at my scan picture for reassurance! Xx
