Nope you have to wait in our system we have to his and the longer you wait the more priority you have! My friend has 4 kids in a two bed house and has been overcrowded for 4 years and still not moved x
What two adults and one child? If that's the case even if you had one more child or even two, in a 3 bed house they won't class that as overcrowded as the children can share roomsxx
My stepchild is nearly 10 so hopefully by the time i'm pregnant and gave birth he will nearly be a teenager! They can't think that's practical surely? X
In a three bedroom house they will see that you and your partner would have one room, you stepchild another and baby in third room. If you had another child after that it could share until the eldest one of the two is about 8/9 I think. You wouldn't be overcrowded x
in my area two kids can share a room until 14 before they say you need another room so with two kids and us we are entitled to a two bedroom and its not overcrowded x
god that's crappy. we private rent from my mum and dad so not too bad because when there three bed comes up for rent we will move there but the tenants in that house have lived there about 7 years so doubt they will move anytime soon although they told my mum a couple years ago they want a morgage. my mum and dad wouldn't ever ask them to leave though because there such good tenants it would be like throwing it back in there face. private seems the only way to do it now as council houses are so hard to get. x
Tbh I don't mind private ATM as I'm in a nice location, I love my flat and if I got anywhere it would be at the top of a high rise probably and I wouldn't want that x
I think it depends on the area and how much housing is available. One of my friends that live in derby got housed before her baby arrived in a lovely 2 bed house with a garden as her mum's would be over crowded when the baby arrived. But my cousin who lives in west London isbin a one bed flat with herself the dad and 2 kids they are in band c which is about a 10 year waiting list in my area.
