I'm struggling too. It's torture in the hospital where I work. I have a fan stuck to me constantly and there's just no air. I got too much sun yesterday too and that's not helping. Could do to be working nightshift! Xx

I used to hate nightshift when it was summer going into work when everyone was chilling in beer gardens or doing bbqs in the park lol!!! altho working in the wards on dayshift was just as bad I used to work on the 4th floor n the windows didn't open it was hell lol!!!
Working in summer sucks lolxxx

We just said today-nhs Scotland could fair do to give us extra days off when the sun comes out like that as they are few and far between! Haha! As if! Xx

I'm on a school reception and the school is closing down this year, we only have yr11 students who are all on study leave, surely the phone line and computer lead stretches to the grass outside my window too lol

pretty sure you could divert to your mobile. Ha!! I am really lucky, my office is in the grounds of the hospital in a lovely little bungalow with a pretty garden. Only problem is getting the time to go out. 27Degrees today....wow!! We were the hottest place in the UK yesterday....that will be why I was a crabbit moo and a sweaty mess then.

This is not helping with my CFS....as lovely as it is to be in slipflops and a maxi dress!!

Wasnt too bad at the office yesterday, sat with a nice cold glass of juice, all of the windows open, the fan on and wearing my summer clothes!

My other half has just called me at work to say as its a lovely afternoon he is gonna pick up our son and sit in the garden with a beer - Im heartbroken! My feet are swollen and sweaty and I could just do with a nice cold glass of Rose.

Im going to treat myself to a paddling pool if this weather stays!

I am sure it's already been mentioned but can you not ask your company to provide you with a desk fan?

I've taken some time off work, so today was nice & relaxing for me, lay on the sun lounger in the shade with a good book and some sparkling water with freshly squeezed lemon!!! So much better than being stuck in a stuffy office all day!! xx

Definitely finding it hard to cope in this weather!! Who was I kidding when I thought I would be okay to be out in the heat all day in town, at the shopping centre and garden centre LOL.. Probably not my best idea - waddling round, hands supporting the bump, out of breath and absolutely boiling hot! - NEVER AGAIN haha.

Hopefully it won't get any hotter between now and the end of August!

This is what Im hoping! Everyone else is loving the weather and all I can think is 'I hope my legs manage to keep going' or 'Im going to pass out- its too HOT!!'.

Oh god I totally forgot how hot the wards are in the hospital I still work in the hospital but it's an out patients so we can open all the doors but the wards were always like ovens!!!! I'm due end of august n ur right didn't plan it well lol xxx

Im working on Derm OPD atm, and omg its so bloody hot! I thought I was going to pass out today in clinic! Had the windows open, doors when not with a patient, bottle of water, splashed my face- no relief whatsoever! I think I may need to invest in some prosthetic legs, because I honestly can't see mine lasting much longer!

You read my mind!! OH said before, you're never happy, either too hot or too cold! I was like you try carrying a small human being in your uterus around all day! See how comfy you are! x

It is lovely to see the sun but it's not much fun growing the human in it lol!!!!
I am up in aberdeen n I just can't believe how warm it is it's crazy!!!! Havnt had weather like this for what feels like forever lol!!!
I'm drinking gallons of squash lol xxx
