Had small bleed thur mw at work said if happens again ring emergency no. Thur night more bleed and pains on left side really sharp. Told to go to gp so I went fri morning and she said epu was full. She said I needed a scan that day so she got me fast tracked to a ward.

Here is when it begins. Hospital stick me in a corridor on a chair where I keep moving as beds and trolleys need to get past. I'm not a person to complain but they took my bp and stuff in ward corridor and sat me there. At 12 a dr said I will se you soon but may not be me as we change over at half 1/2!!! I was seen at 3!! They examined me and said was chance of ectopic but scan ppl very busy.

Best bit! Told can't scan till we'd and partner moaned. She said enjoy wkend best you can as scan today or we'd don't matter as if you have mc your baby has gone it's nature I'm afraid! No shit

That's terrible!! So, have you got a scan booked in for Monday?

If you're still bleeding and in pain, go to A&E and kick up a fuss.

Unbelievable.

No I've got scan we'd morning I just feel so upset she thought I could carry on normal life!

I would go back to the hospital and tell them that you are not moving til you get a scan, is there only one hospital near you that you can go to we have 2 near us we can choose from, i must say though that the hospital i have been going to have been very good they have given me and early scan everytime i have been bleeding or had pains xx

oh that's awful Tinks, horrible to wait and worry like that, and especially to have you there at the weekend , how long does a scan take? 10 mins!. Good that they can't be that worried about ectopic as they are making you wait a good few days to take a look, is it bright red bleeding? Do go back if in any more bleeding orand or pain, you really can't mess with possible ectopics -they will have to look at you , if you move in there. Perhaps your doctor can help fast track things more?

ring the complaints dept at the hospital monday morning and tell them your not happy because i think the care you have recieved is terrible

that is awful absolutely ring tomm and complain. were do hospitals get off treating women and babies like this, they are getting away with it too much thats the problem. im suing the hospital i had thomas in for 3 million! theyll think twice nxt time.

That's awful I can't believe they would say that to anyone! If they were concerned about possible ectopic why on earth weren't they insisting you were scanned while you were there anyway? Hope you're ok

Thanks everyone for the kind words. I just feel so in limbo until tommorow. Im not bleeding but still have strong pains and work wont let me go back until i know as if something happened at work they would be liable apparently. I just want to know now either way but not looking forward to going to the hospital. Im going to EPU unit this time and not to a random ward so maybe they will be a bit more sensitive.
