I read that you need to take your own bottles, but then how do you sterilise them at the hospital..
Do you need to take your own or do they provide them? My midwife hasnt mentioned this to me so getting confused as one thing says one thing & then I read something else, it says something else!
Confused!:o

Every hospital is different, some still provide them. Mine didn't but has a sterilisor I was bf but personally would have taken some readymade ones that you can buy.

I'm taking ready made ones as its a tad easier I can feed then when baby and I want rather than asking and perhaps waiting. If your hospital do a tour you could ask them what they have thats what I did.

My hospital has a sign up in antenatal saying they provide sterilised bottles and teats and that u need to bring in ready made milk. If i end up taking some i am going to take some sma ready made bottles and some of their teats that u just pop on the top. Job done and shouldnt need to many for the short hospital stay.

I've got the SMA ready made should BF not work.
Haven't got the teats though, hoping they have some there?

My hospital has a steriliser that can be used if needed but like the other ladies I have just packed pre-made SMA bottles as it is easier x

our hospital has a kitchen with kettle, sterilisers, bottle warmers etc.....which you could access and use and and when you needed to - no need to ask or wait etc....

When I had my little girl 13 months ago the hospital had small ready made formulas there with the teats, cow & gate, sma etc. I wont be taking any in with me this time either xx

If I'm planning on bf but just taking milk as precaution how many do u think I need to take?

I've brought a pack of 6 pre made hip organic ones .... That will do 24 hours won't it? X

Im just taking 3 ready made cartons, when I had my daughter I took white a few and only ended up using 1 and half!!! Newborns dont drink megga amounts straight away! well my daughter didnt maybe some babys do xx
