Hospital bag :S

Hey guys,

Just wondering when you're all packing your hospital bags?? I've been told by hospital at least 2 weeks before due date but I'm such a control freak I know I've gotta have it done before then!! I'm going back to England in September for a week (via ferry + taking car with us) and I'll be 32 weeks pregnant, obv I'll take my notes but dya reckon I should have my hospital bags ready and in the car before I go back or sort it when I come back to Ireland? 32 weeks does seem a tad early to have it ready but in my opinion u never know lol!!

I'm also a control freak and already have the stuff to pack !! Although am resisting packing till bout 34 weeks. If it would make u feel better pack before u come over. How long u going to b over here ? Xxx

Yeah see my mum reckons I shud bring just in case lol, I'm only coming for a week. x.

What harm will it be to take it with you? I'm having to resist the urge to be over organised and buy stuff for it and pack already and I'm only 20 weeks lol! If it'll make you feel happier then do it - providing it's not the size of a house and you'll be squished in the car lol ) x

they say you should have your bag packed 6 weeks before due date - which i have done. I would def bring your notes whilst your away but wouldn't take the hospital bag - if anything happened someone could get you all the wee bits and bobs that you may need - if you start trailing the bag with you too early you will feel like the pregnancy is never going to end!
