Just been to my local Netto for a few bits and theres a grass banking at the back around the car park. Theres a great big shire horse tethered up on it  . Is that legal? Poor horsey :(

It didn't seem neglected or anything. Just stood there with a long face

Perhaps it's owner is just trying to be really eco friendly and not drive to the supermarket anymore :D

Thought this was gonna be a post saying you'd seen horse steaks being sold in the supermarket or something. Was wondering if we'd started adopting French cuisine lol.

We have this alot round my area, we find horses left on the banks by the motorways. It's normally the travellers that do this and apparently it's legal as long as the horse is tied up and has a bucket of water within reach

its legal to tether a horse anywhere if you get the owners permission and the horse has water neearby etc.

did the horse look ok to you?
