Hi ladies don't know if any of you have tried this. I had a bath with AJ this morning. Granted it was cold for me but was an amazing experience. The bonding time was fabulous. AJ normally screams through a bath but he found this one alot nicer and was much calmer. There was loads of eye contact and face copying. I also found my boobs were leaking loads. I thought they had dried up as I am not bf but clearly not!!!!!!!!

I thought about doing this as harry hates the bath and always screams. Will give it a go thanks!x

Have also thought about this... Might try tomorrow! :-)

Evie loves the bath so think I might give this a try - sounds like a lovely experience!!

I want to do this too, although Lewis is a very good boy when I'm in the shower though I think he loves the performance.

A friend of mine had a bath with her baby and it poo'd so just be prepared for that eventuality lol

I used to always have baths with Sophie but then she got too energetic during bath time and was throwing herself everywhere so we are back in the baby bath lol

I did this from her been a couple week old and now i cant put her in the normal baby bath she kicks all the water out! She is getting strong with her legs now, had her first bath with daddy yesterday was so sweet i could her them 'talking' x

I started having Chloe in the bath with me as the health visitor said it may help with our problems breastfeeding, you're right it's an amazing experience. She loves kicking the water around and playing with the bubbles.

We had a bath together about 2 hours ago and she decided it would be the perfect time to do a poo, such a lovely experience lol, the first time she's done it though so not so bad :)

Jack doesn't like having a bath with me for some reason. He's the biggest Mummy's boy in the world but gets upset if I bath with him. However he loves a bath with Daddy so thats their 'thing'. I leave them to have a splash about at least 4 nights a week! I wizz around and do a quick tidy up for 15mins while listening to Daddy singing and Jack sqealing lol x

I am too scared incase I drop him and he drowns :(

I was petrified the first time too, but I actually find it easier than bathing her in a baby bath. I never do it on my own either OH is always either sat next to the bath or in the bedroom so I can shout him if there's a problem.

I did this a month or ago. It's sooo lovely. Joshua seemed to love it but there again he loves baths anyway. Just doesn't like getting out tho lol.xx

I found it much easier too. It seemed easier to hold him. I wouldn't do it without the OH here either. xxxx

I've started to do this, LO loves it, also feed in warm bath when she's colicky as warm water soothes her tummy

It's daddy that does them in our house. Mostly cos he goes for baths more than me, I'm still jumping in quick showers.

I tried it the other night and she cries, so might leave it as daddy bonding time. It's so cute to watch.
Xxx
