Are there any mums to be out there who are worried about having a high BMI before or during their pregnancy?

Prospect Pictures are making a documentary series for the BBC about health and lifestlye during pregnancy.

We are looking for pregnant women who have high BMIs who would like specialist help and support to achieve a healthier lifestyle during their pregnancy.

If you would like more information please message us and we will get in touch.

Many thanks!

Thanks for sharing ladies -we do hope it will be a positive and helpful experience for those who take part.

If you know anyone to pass the info to please do.

Thanks again!

I would love to take part and i am very aware of my high bmi!

I used to be 12 stone before i had my daughter in 2007. I went up to 17 stone 2 at my heaviest when i was pregnant and then battled for 3 years to get back down to 13 stone for my wedding in 2009, but since then i have put on a stone and half-ish again.

That means i started this pregnancy at about 15 stone and i am determined not to put another 5 stone on or i will be 20 stone by the end of this pregnancy!

So i joined a gym knowing we were going to try and concieve and luckily we fell pregnant the 2nd month.

I had my 6 week review at gym and so far i think i have not gained any weight (although i know it has been up and down between 14 and a hal and fifteen stone). I try and do auqasize, swimming and a gym session every week but found it difficult when i felt rough in the 1st trimester.

I think my BMI is 32-33 and the midwife says that i will be eligable to have the gestational diabetes test at 26-28 weeks.

I live in Colchester, I have been with my partner for 12 years and married for 1 year.
This is my second child, for years i have been a weightwatchers member and wanted to get back to within my ideal weight range but find it increasingly dfficult.

I used to smoke too but gave up in january 2006 before i fell pregnant in June 2006 with my daughter.
my email is [email protected].

Thanks for your message ladies.

You do get £200 to spend in Mothercare or Jojo Maman Bebe for taking part - not quite payment but still!

And the specialist care you'd get is something that wouldn't necessarily be available through the NHS alone.

Also for those of you who are within the right weeks of pregnancy we will get you a 4d scan of baba as well.

Best wishes

im have a bmi above 30 and would sooooo like to get it right down during this pregnacey :(

It sounds really interesting but I've done so much media stuff and been so open. I don't think I want everyone knowing everything again
