Hickups

My baby constantly has the hickups, it really goes through me. As i type he/she is hickuping. Drives me mad at night. My whole stomach moves. Anyone elses baby like this?

yep. mine too. i mentioned it to my midwife and she said its a really good sign the babys lungs are developing good.
i felt really guilty for getting annoyed when she hiccups but apparantly alot of people do

my baby gets hiccups quite often, amylou its good 2 kno that what ur MW said. my boyf dont believe me lol, he says u cant get hiccups when theres no air to get stuck! hes got a point, i dont kno why they get them when theyre not breathing air in, but i'm sure those little rhythmic jumps ARE hiccups!

oh yes, my baby gets them 3-5 times a day and i feel the same, it really does my head in sometimes.. and yes i can see full tummy movememnts too..

How does it feel when the baby has hiccups? I don't think I've experienced any.

My LO gets hiccups at least twice a day. He/she had them tonight while i was eating my tea. My mum says while she was pregnant with me i had them all the time and actually had them when she was holding me after i'd been born!!

yea ive noticed that my baby sometimes has 2 hiccups things some days or 1time most days. can go on for a few mins lol its very cute and i dont mind it

i judt dont like the way the baby moves its foot or elbow or something and does like a mexican wave through my belly lol thats makes me feel abit huey lol. sometimes babys moves so much i gotta get off the bed and move around cause i slouch and watch tv. if i lie on my right baby moves more.

My bump gets them loads too... I love feeling my baby move still, I find it so reassuring, think I will miss my bump when it has gone. I end up sitting staring at it in the evening!

Yes im having the same with this one and last one, is cute and first but then they go through you and you just wish that they would just stop coz there annoying at times!

now I discovered that this is what hiccups is, I realise I get it loads! it's really annoying sometimes cos it's such a strange feeling in a really strange place!

when i was pregnant with charlotte she always used to get them when i was in the bath.. it was brilliant.. used to make me chuckle..
