I'm not really sure if this is the place to post and i'm new to this forum.
I'm trying to find my way around but just thought i'd say hi and hope i can share my days with you all

I used to use a wedding forum in the run up to my big day in November 2010 and found some lovely friends.

My husband and i have decided that we'd like to start trying for a bambino and i'm sooooo excited and praying it'll all be ok and we can have one.

My name is Rachel and i'm 31.
I've been to the nurse and she checked my blood pressure etc and said good luck!!

Took my final pill 3 days ago so we are floating free!!!!

I've been taking the PREGNACARE CONCEPTION Vitamins for a week too as advised from the nurse.

A.F hasnt arrived yet but shes due in two days so we'll start trying after that!!

how is everybody else?

how long does it usually take for the pill to come out of your system? I was on the mini pill for 12yrs!

First things - Congrats on becoming a mrs

Secondly good luck in your TTC journey ! You are taking the correct steps and hope it will provide you with a speedy BFP!

The forum is a lovely place with likeminded women who will be with you every step of the way we will help you with any questions and there is no such thing as " to much info " around here trust me lol.

I'm not sure about the pill as I had the depo injection after my misscarriage in jan 2010 and after a year off being free of any contraception I havent fallen pregnant just yet. Fingers crossed it doesn't take this long for yourself but just don't worry or stress if it does.

It's hard to say re the pill with you being on it for so long, some people have no problem and some people have to wait a while but i'm sure you'll be pregnant in no time at all - most ladies are

So frustrating isn't it when you hear of these school kids getting prgnant but yet when we start to want one it's so difficult!!
We've only just started the journey so I'm hoping we are lucky and conceive soon but only time will tell I guess.

I'm glad I can now talk on hear? Seems we're all in the same boat!! Wanting something so much that we havent really got control of!! X

ok there is so much we can tell you hunny, just sit back and take it all in lol, I have learned so much since coming on here, you really can increase your chances of getting pregnant, with a little patience, ... here goes, first question, are your periods (AF-Aunt Flow, commonly known as the Witch) regular?...
if you are not sure or they are not regular, then it might be worth you investing in some Ovulation prediction tests, you can but cheap ones from ebay or amazon there are a few other websites you can buy them from too, or you can buy branded ones from the chemist, they can be quite pricey but it depends on your budget I guess, you basically pee in a cup once a day starting from the day after your period ends, usually best after not drinking for 2 hours and in the afternoon, and test the pee with the test..when you get a positive test, you know you are likely to ovulate within the next day or so, If you dtd (do the deed, BD(baby dance)) during the time around ovulation you are more likely to conceive.... phew... are you bored yet lol xx
