Hi, I'm new!

Hi everyone, hope your all doing ok?

Have been browsing the forum the last couple of days and thought i'd join in the fun as you all seem so nice!

Well a bit about myself. I've just turned 32, last week. Been married almost 3 yrs and have 2 boys, 13yrs and 6yrs. Oh and have a dog as well, she's worse than the kids sometimes!

Discovered on wednesday that i'm pregnant with baby number 3!! Wasn't planned so was/is still a shock! We decided at this point in life to just not try anymore and enjoy what we have. Hubby was adamant he didn't want another incase we have another boy...(i always said you don't know unless you try) but he didn't want to take the risk. So you can imagine his shock. He's still coming to terms with it, think he's in a bit of denial too...not really talked about it at all Going out of my mind cos i can't talk to family about it yet (mc'd before my youngest son was born so have chosen to wait till we have the scan) and he seems to not want to talk about it till the weekend and keeps saying it's early days yet.

God, i sound like a moany old cow! lol I know once we have the talk and he's come to terms with it he'll be brilliant. It's so hard keeping the news my 6 yr old though, he was so desperate for a brother or sister! He'll be estatic!

Oh and i'm 5 weeks today...it's dragging!

Yeah i know he'll be ok but still feel alone with my thoughts sometimes. I'm glad i've discovered this forum!

Absolutely agree....had a similar conversation with my husband last night....explained that altho hes doing 'his bit' I still feel likes its a bit one sided at times....said hes so excited at tcc and hopefully getting a bfp asap but hes a bloke and thats just how hes dealing with it all...so dont worry your not alone and while there really isnt a malicious bone in my husbands body and he would never deliberatly be so vacant about something so important and special hes just being a man ..... apparently! lol!!

Hi there,
this is my first time on this site too and I also found out on Wednesday that I am expecting my third!!! I am really excited and my husband says he is too but last night he was checking out travel insurance (we always have 3 weeks in Flrida every year) and he was moaning because the insurance will cost more and from next year the holiday will cost even more (we save like mad to afford to go already)
so dont worry about your husband, sounds like they are all the same lol !!!!!!xxxx
