Me and my OH have decided to TTC and i'm really new to all this, I officially came off of my pill on the 24th December, but missed loads before hand , I had a period (Well would it be classed as a normal period?) on the 26th December and that lasted about 6-7days. I don't know if its wishful thinking or what but for the past few days i've felt sick and had heartburn, then Thursday my nipples started to feel quite tender and the sides feel a little bruised and then yesterday I started getting period pains all day and night but nothing, I thought I'd wake up this morning and AF would be here but nope still nothing. I have no idea when I ovulated so I'm feeling all a bit confused and trying not to get my hopes up but I really wish I could just know if AF is on her way or not.

Hello and welcome.

I am a newbie too and hubby and I are TTC'ing for our 4th baby. TBH I am totally going with the flow and seeing what nature brings. The only thing I am going to be doing is checking my dates to see roughly when I will be at my most fertile and making sure we have sex on those days. If that doesn't work after a few months, then I will consider getting an OPK. I would just relax about the whole thing. If you are pg then you will know about it soon enough.

You could have had these symptoms on the pill before but dismissed them because you weren't trying to conceive. Our minds play wonderful tricks on us when we really want something!
