Hi everyone.
My OH is in the RAF and went to Afganistan 3 months ago. He's missed sooo much of the pregnancy. I wasnt really showing b4 he went and he's never got to feel LO kick. Just before he went away he seemed to lose interest in the baby (he was over the moon when he 1st found out) I put it down to him having to phsyc him self up for going somewhere dangerous.
he's back in 2 weeks and i'll be 34 weeks pregnant by then.
1/ I'm worried he wont bond properly.
2/ Is he going to come home and see me and the bump and freak?!
I've had all this time to get used to the idea, but he's going to have to cope with it all in a short space of time.
I need any advice on making the shocking realisation that WE ARE ABOUT TO HAVE A BABY! A little softer on him.
We have loads to do when he gets back (the RAF are moving us from manchester to aberdeen just weeks after the baby is due) Dont think he has any idea of my limitations now.
Any advice / similar stories greatly apreciated.
Becks X (and i managed to stay off the inlaw's - you should be proud of me)
