I'm so confused right now! My dad was diagnosed with a brain tumor 13 months ago and now hes loosing his battle :( Its a grade 4 and he was only told on Friday there was nothing more they could do for him and to make the most of his time left. Hes now on a morphine driver and his breathings gone all funny. We were told today that it is likley to happen in the next 48 hours but its still a shock. I've spent all night with him and didn't want to leave but as we don't know when its gonna happen I had to come hoe, having the 3 kids and all. My heads so messed up now!

awww im so so sorry for what your going through.
my mum has just recovered from stage 4 cervical cancer so she was very lucky.
i really hope your ok, its the worst thing ever, but if theres nothing else they can do, just make sure you let your dad know how much you love him and what he means to you.

so sorry again

Thanks Kimbo. I'm just so messed up right now! I told him I loved him and gave him a kiss when I left, but don't know if he can still hear me. Its soooo hard.

even if he can't hear you, he will still know that you are there/have been with him and he will go with that memory, knowing that he had a family who wanted to be there with him and loved him

awww hun iam so sorry, be strong for ur dad. Im will know ur there

Aw hun I am so sorry

My Grandad brought me up and was my dad (not in a Jerry Springer way) and he was diagnosed with leukaemia one day, and 2 days later he was gone, it's amazing how quickly some things take hold. Unfortunately by the time I got to the hospital he was not very coherent, so I don't know if he heard what I said either :(

My thoughts are with you, try to be strong

Oh no, so sorry to see this :(

I hope he goes peacefully, and as time goes on you can remember the happier times.

My thoughts are with you Kellie, this must be a very difficult time for you.
I hope you get chance to say everything you need to, I am sure your dad will know you are with him.

So sorry to hear this. Thinking of you and your family at this difficult time.

 I'm sure he'll know you're there whether he can hear you or not. Thats what matters

Hes been taken into a hospice this morning. The macmillan nurse said its unlikley to happen today as hes still quite twitchy so he needs to be looked after propally. Not that my mum isn't doing a brilliant job but he weighs 16 stone now after all the steriods hes been on and she just can't keep him clean anymore. Plus hes has always refused to have a catherther (sp) in. I just want this over now! :( I just can't believe how quick its gone. When they say people give up when theres nothing more they can do for them its so true.

Im so sorry hun, this must be so hard for you. My thought are with you & your family
