Help working out Cycle Day 1?

Hello ladies

I'm probably being a complete idiot but I'm really confused what day this month was CD 1. I generally have a 28-day cycle and was expecting AF to start on the Friday.

However, on the Thursday late evening, there was a small amount of pinky blood.

All day Friday - nothing at all.

Saturday - when AF kicked in.

Do I count things from the Thursday or the Sat?
