Help! Want to ttc no2 but still breasfeeding

We want to ttc no2 but still I'm still breastfeeding Max at almost 18 months. I don't want to stop really and neither does he. He gets upset if I refuse him.

I've not got my cycles back at all yet, at least I haven't had a period yet. I wish they'd just come back so I can ttc without stopping bf.

We both want to start trying, but hubby is putting me under pressure as we're not getting any younger.

Any tips ladies?

Amazing how different bodies are. My first AF came back at 6 weeks despite fully bf! How many times a day are you feeding now? Anything that starts your cycles up will likely reduce or stop your supply now. Probably best to just try dropping one feed at a time and see if things start up?

Hey Fliss!! Yeh hardly been on here for aaaaages! Just no time these days, absolutely stacked with work, it's all got a bit out of control. :-/

He only really has 1 or 2 every 24 hours. Sometimes really quick, sometimes for a bit longer. It's really hard to refuse him when he asks. Just wish my cycles would come back without having to think about stopping.

I guess there's nothing else I can do to encourage it back.

Hope it doesn't take long as I don't really want to cross the 40 year old mark.

How are you Fliss, you must be almost there now with your second? what's the EDD?
