I'm 27 weeks and literally had hardly any movement all day. Heard him on Doppler but he really isn't moving not even away from them monitor and now I'm really starting to freak out xxxx

If your worried ring your midwife or hospital for advice and see if they would want to admit you in to monitor x

26 weeks pregnant. Team yellow too hope to find out peanuts sex on 26th march x

right hun have had the same problem as long as you no for sure when you last felt him move if it was more than 12 hours ago drink 2 pints of water and go lie down for an hour on your lefthand side, if after an hour you havent felt any movement ring the labour ward and explain they will request you go in use doppler to hear babies heart then stick you on the monitor til they are happy with how baby is doing. 90% of the time lying on your left side with bladder full will make baby move and kick its what they will tell you do when you ring anyway. so give it ago worse thing to happen you end up peeing alot x

ring triage at the hospital.. They will prob ask u to go in and put u on the monitor to check baby is ok

Same thing happened to me and they told me to go in straight away, I was on the monitor for about half an hour and they said everything was fine.. Soon as I got there though, baby started moving..

Better to just get things checked over tho, hope everything's ok...x

This happened to me chicky and I was told to sit for half an hour quietly with hand on bump and count the number of movements. I thought I had none, but when I sat there and just kept my hands on it and had no other distractions it helped  xx

I was going to say eat some sweets, and baby should soon get a rush on - if no movement do get checked out, your really not wasting their time, don't leave it , if your worried

Heard him on the doppler this morning sounding really strong still very small amount of movement but had a few kicks its just not like him xxx

Hope all is ok....I had a good few days at 27 weeks with hardly nything, rang up the triage at work and got sent straight up there. As soon as doppler got on she kicked. However they wouldnt put me on a monitor xxx

Aw, hun. I hope you feel better about his movements soon. I'm 27 weeks too and mine has incredibly busy days and then scary quiet days, like it's tired itself out. I've had a quiet night and morning, which makes me nervous, but I know it was freaking out yesterday afternoon, and I'm still feeling some movements, just not the karate kicks. It's quite often because LO has turned round and is kicking your insides instead, which you would feel less. Take care. xxx

When I rang them at 27 weeks they said they don;t monitor until 29 weeks but could just be my hospital :)

Give them a ring and see what they say, I ended up going to the docs and all they did was listen on the doppler anyway.

They won;t scan you if you do go to the hospital anyways this early.

As long as you can hear a heartbeat I would say your good, I had a scare the other day and ended up going on the BIG doppler at the medical midwife unit :) but they only monitored the heartbeat the minute they put it on he booted the machine!!! making me look neurotic.

xxx

I've had a few movements this morning having a fizzy cold drink and some lunch so hopefully that will give him a little wake up. He sounded fine on the Doppler this morning xxx

He could be having a growth spurt hunny, Albert always went quiet at those times it takes a lot of energy to turn into a munchkin :D

Yeah I was wondering because bump Does seem a bit bigger than normal so was wondering if it could be a growth spurt. Hoping he will start to kick harder. Also was wondering whether it could be him now head down. What do u all think xxx

i hadnt felt mine move after i had a bump yesterday, so i rang midwife and she told me to ring fmu, and they told me to go in to be checked.
once hooked up to mashine for babys heart beat, drink of cold water and a chocolate cake slice later, little maddam was bouncing around and kicking.
sugar and hot or cold things.

Could be hun. Albert was head down by my 28 week appointment. In which case his harder kicks will now reach your ribs....oh what joy lol

Why is it such a worrying time lol. Not really had many movements since 2pm fizzy drink not helped either. Xxx

Love one ta 2 sugars :D

Write down his movements hun, rather than trying to remember them and you'll probably start to see a pattern of sleeps and wakes xxxxxxxxx
