*HELP* Slight pink discharge (sorry TMI)

Hi

I had a slight pink discharge on Saturday (for about an hour) and a bit when i wiped later.

It was just like last time at about 18 weeks when we think my cervix was upset after sex, but this time I hadn't had sex (not since last Tuesday).

My Mum said (as she was down at the weekend) that may be LO was putting pressure on it and not to worry, it is ok yesterday and today, no discharge.

I have my 28 week midwife appointment tomorrow and will mention this, but do you think my Mum was right?

Also my feet swelled last night but are ok today and my hands were a bit swallon this morning but are ok now but this may be due to me not drinking enough - bad me!

In 3rd tri you'll get all kinds of weird and wonderful discharge!

I think it's only something to be worried about if it's smelly, or there's blood.

I would mention the swelling to your midwife, just in case. I have permanently swollen feet though, and it's just water retention

Thanks. I didn't see anything Sunday or yesterday but this morning it was browny when I wiped and a very very small brown clot, seeing the midwife later but worried sick

The baby is active, you don't think it is my plug?

might be part of your plug, but that can go weeks before labour starts with no problems anyway.
I doubt its the whole plug as that would come out in an unmissable big lump.
I would tell your midwife about it, but I wouldn't worry

So can bits of your plug come away at 28 weeks but LO stays in until 40 weeks?

I even packed a small hospital bag last night just incase it was more- a bit Over the top but was worried)

I'm pretty sure they can stay inside once the plugs gone, I think it's only a problem if the bag of water is leaking as that could let infection in.
I think someone else mentioned (Tilly?) that if the plug goes early it can sometimes reform.

Well, the discharge was at 8.20am, wee'd at 9.20am, and 10.20am and just now and nothing at all not on the mini pad or when I wipe, strange!
