Help - shingles

Hello All,

I do hope one of you can put my mind at rest, one of my clients came to me today and told me she has suffered from a mild form of recurrent shingles. I worked with her for the treatment however I am now concerned that I could have put my unborn child at risk from coming into contact with her.

Can anyone help me with some advice? Should I go and see my Dr? I have had chicken pox as a child so does this make me immune?

I dont think your immune if you've have chicken pox.

Best advice I can give is to give your midwife a ring in the morning and have a word with her about it. She'll know for sure.
