Daft question!
Blind panic been reading the net and speaking to friends with kids about forumla feed.
When ive made up the bottles of boiled water and leaving them for later use where do I store them? There only filled with water I would make them when needed??
Does this make sense?

I make up the bottles if formula and put in the fridge then pop one in a mug if boiling water when I need it x

The boiled water is fine for 24 hours and will stay sterile in the bottle as long as the lid is secured tightly, I kept mine at room temp (as this is what my lo preferred) and juts added the formula when needed :)

On the tin is says water shouldn't be cooled for longer than 30 mins before the formula is added- this is due to bacteria in the milk powder- it needs to be killed off by the hot water

BUT everyone does it differently- the ladies who use completely cooled water obviously haven't had any issues as they wouldn't keep doing it :) so if you wanna do it that way go for it! but I just follow what the tin says :)

Xxx

i make my bottles up using the water after 30 mins then i cool down in a bowl of cold water and pop them in the fridge, and then when needed just pop in a jug of hot water i have never had any issues this is how we was told to do it 10 years ago with my first and i also did with my 4 year old and this LO without ay problems, just follow what you feel is the right way for you xxx

I have used totally cooled water before now and just nuked it in microwave x its totally up to you i mainly use a thermal flask and pop water in it after 30 mins x
