Calling on you ladies for some creative help! I need to write an article for a mothers website as part of my freelancing job. It can be literally about anything to do with babies, pregnancy or kids. I was thinking about an article on controlled crying or tips on how to keep your 'sense of self' after having a baby.

Anyone else got any ideas that they want to throw at me? Would be very much appreciated :) xxx

do something you know about from personal experience hun, they always make the best reads

If it was me I would write about dealing with colic as I really struggled . Like bev said pick something personal x

I would be very interested to read about preserving one's sense of self - obviously I am the most selfish creature alive and have no problems with that, LOL! but I know it's something that will strike a chord with us all, as it's so incredibly difficult to find 'me' time.

How about 10 things they never tell you about after your baby is born :)

Like how to pee without it stinging after a vaginal birth lol :)

.........

Lol Bella i wouldn't know about that one. However i do know all about the pain of being in a car going over speed bumps after a c-section...OWWW!

I liked the idea about keeping your sense of self as a mother but they already have a similar article on that. I think i'm going to go with something loosely related - how stay at home mums can make money from home...blogs, crafts, setting up own businesses etc. Not particularly a maternal subject but lets face it, i'm still learning how to be a mum myself so hardly in a position to dish out too much advice lol!

I like the sense of self idea as well.

Maybe you could write about the effects of a c section on your body :)

Xxx

that sounds like a good idea!!

id write about how there is a baby born every 40 seconds in the UK but being a mummy can be one of the loneliest jobs in the world at times. just giving new mums a bit of support that they're not on their own!

you should do something thats personal to you, then it would be believable and interesting :) xxxx
