Help on choosing a first name

Me and OH already have a boys name picked for baby, but we are struggling with girls names, we have picked middle names but need to be careful due to baby's surname.

The middle names chosen are Susan Joan King we can't decide on a first name the two we like are-

persephone

and

ziva

any imput would be brilliant. Thank you x x x

Hey tabbi, I don't like either names sorry but out of the 2 ziva i suppose. I'm not even sure how to pronounce the first one and think it would be a nightmare for the lo to have to spell and explain their name their whole lives. Just my humble opinion good luck choosing xxx

Not keen on either being honest, but again like Kay Kay said, if I had to choose out of the two which I do prefer it would be Ziva

I really don't like the name Persephone. I've never heard Ziva before but I quite like it.

If you like greek names may I suggest Xanthe (zan-thee). It used to be on my list but we decided that we will use our grandparents names instead.

Is ziva like her off ncis? Persephone's a bit if a mouthful IMO and I think you'll always find a lot of how's it Spelt/said etc etc! I do quite like ziva tho!

I prefer it to Ziva!!!

It sounds OK phonetically (although it does kind of sound a little like a mis-pronounciation? Like someone who says 'specifically' as 'pacifically' ) it looks beautiful written though.

I think Ziva is better with two middle names, Persephone is too long. x

evie_smith your right on how its pronounced, as for ziva we didn't pick it because of NCIS but yes its the same one. OH has also come up with Ebony too which would suit if baby has dark hair. Thank you all for your replys x x x
