help me..................please

hi, i was wondering if any one can help.....

i'm 37+2 weeks pregnant with my first baby and for the last few days i've had really itchy feet and hands i told my midwife yesterday and she sent me to have bloods taken which come back all clear,

i know i shouldn't worry now but i've read it's a sign for pre-esclampsia
just wondering if any one else ever had pre-esclampsia and if so what are the other signs of it?

I thought it was a sign of a liver problem? If it gets worse hun I would go back again. There is a sticky post in first tri about severe itching. If you're bloods have come back clear I wouldn't worry too much just keep an eye on it because it can be really bad. You did the right thing going to your midwife though hun!

I hun, i am sorry to hear you are itching
It could be a sign of Obstetric cholestasis
The have taken you bloods to test the bile levels in your liver

hi spoke to my midwife again yesterday my bloods came back all clear and my blood pressure has gone back up, she just thinks i'm one of them pregnant wpmen who gets itchy lol,
