Well maybe not quite as tasty as one, but with this heat my feet seem to be swelling a fair bit. This is matching the swelling in my hands that's causing the carpal tunnel syndrome but my feet just don't seem to go down again(my hands tend to fluctuate), even after being in bed or having them up on a high footstool for ages.

I'm sure it's with the hot weather, BP has always been good (last time was high-ish but come down during the appointment) and no other worrying signs.

So does anyone have any tips to get this swelling down a bit?? I've been drinking loads! Probably about three to three and a half litres of fluid a day/night, been wearing flip flops for past few weeks so no socks, and trying to paddle them in a wee bit of cool water in the bath, but still marshmallow-esque! :wall2:

I'm with you on that one- nothing to suggest that you aren't already trying - lets just hope it cools down a bit - something i never thought i would say but feel like a recluse today staying in doors after overdoing it in the heat yesturday!

I'm quite enjoying the sun, just as long as I don't have to do anything in it! Slathered on the sun tan lotion and hid under the parasol yesterday and today, OH followed suit today after getting a bit pink yesterday. Weird how our bodies cope though!

Yep sounds good but with my three crazy tigers i thought i would do a bbq except i looked like a beetroot for 3 hours after - not a good move! Spent the afternoon trying to cool off and had to sleep downstairs as upstairs was still to warm - looks like i will be doing the same tonight as i stil feel hot now!

Oh no, loads of aftersun or a mister spray!! It's hard enough sleeping, nevermind when you feel like your skin is on fire!!

mine dont look swollen but feel pressurised if that makes any sense??

i would say just put them up as much as u can x
