Help! Am I about to have another miscarriage??? :-(

So, my last period was 23rd Oct which makes me supposedly 7 weeks pregnant today.

I started some brown spotting yesterday which freaked me out as I had the same thing last year which resulted in a miscarriage. I saw the Dr today and have had a scan, it shows me only being 5 weeks, she said it could be that the baby has stopped growing already. I have had bloods taken and will go again on Friday for more.

I just took another test to see if my line was fading, but it is very strong and appeared before the control line. I will post pics in another comment.

So worried now I am only 27 and was hoping last year was just a once off!

I don't want to read and run, can't give any advice I'm afraid. I had some bleeding, had a scan and saw the heartbeat and been fine since FX (almost 10 weeks now).

I cant be 100 percent certain as my cycles could be irregular after only coming off the pill in August so there is a chance that I could have ovulated late but my previous cycle was 27 days and my periods have been normal for me and started again 5 weeks after stopping the pill. Im trying to remain positive!

Bless you. If you only had one period since coming off the pill then there’s a good chance your dates might be a little out. I think implantation bleeding around week 5 is quite common so fingers crossed you’re just earlier than you thought.

the cycle I fell on was 37 days long I couldn't tell you when I modulated and we only did twice that month. At what I thought was 7 weeks I bled and went to the hospital got scanned and only the was was seen so around 5 weeks. nearly 3 weeks later I was 8 weeks and I saw my baby. Even now my notes say my actual date and going from period date is over a week difference.
keep positive implantation bleeding and bleeding is actual,y very common xx

Didn't want to read and run. I've bled a few times with this pregnancy so far. Spotting is common so hopefully your dates are off hun. I know having a previous mc makes everything 10x worse. Fx for you really hope everything is okay xx

Didn't want to read as and run. I had spotting from 7dpo and still get it on wiping usually in the afternoons. I keep thinking I'll go see about it but forkmwhat a read a little spotting is normal and cramps/ fresh blood is worrying

Hiya,

I am ok thanks and remaining optimistic until being told otherwise. I am getting occasional mild cramps like very faint period pains. The brown discharge continues but it is not very much. There isn't a hint of red blood at the moment.

Going back for bloods on Friday to compare to yesterdays, then another ultrasound on Monday to confirm if there is any growth this week.

Yes my midwife said brown blood is ok it’s only when it’s bright red blood you need to worry! Well try to relax I know it’s hard! Fingers crossed things are fine. So this morning I got up did my usual morning routine, feed dogs etc. I had extreme cramping for around 10 mins, similar to period pain but a bit worse and constant, thought I was about to throw up. I was convinced I was about to start bleeding properly....but the pain went and now I am fine!! So weird!

Sometimes you do get sharp pains they are like growing pains not very comfortable. Hope you ok, not that long and Friday will be here to hopefully provide you with the reassurance you need! Xx

Cramps at the start can be quite painful for some. With dd at 5 weeks I was so convinced I was having another mc with the pain but it was just normal cramping. Fx for you for Friday xx

I had bleeding and major cramps at around 5 weeks in this pregnancy but all is well now and baby had a heartbeat...

So...today I am feeling absolutely terrible....just been given some anti sickness tablets as I am so nauseous and it's exhausting...that might be due to my hcg levels being 161000 on Monday and 600,000 today!! Thise figures mean nothing to me but Apparently those levels are extremely high for 5-6 weeks...so we will see what the scan on Monday says. All very confusing!
