I'm beside myself that something has gone wrong. He had the jabs at 9.20am, wasn't too bad, cried a bit. We got home, fed and he went to sleep for an hour, i thought yes, we've got through it...but he has been screaming his head off ever since. He just had a bit of a sleep and is now groaning like a cat with a mouse  He doesnt have a temperature.

What are other people's experiences with the 8 week jabs (we were a few weeks late). Is there anything I can do, he just doesnt seem himself. Such weird noises.

X

Hope you're both ok? Is there a pedeatric a&e near you? Maybe take him if you're really worried. Also, don't be afraid to dose him up with calpol xx

Did you try calpol? If it doesn't help, go to paediatric a&e

My sister has just showed up with the calpol. He's had a sleep but is awake again, will give him some of the good stuff. Thanks for the advice girls.

Was this his first set of jabs? My LO was soooo grumpy and upset for about 4 days. Its heart breaking. Just keep an eye on his temp and if calpol doesn't make a difference or you just feel something isn't right dont be afraid to take him to see someone

Yes it was his first set. Four days, oh no, I suppose they are going through a lot and he's teething! He's in bed now and I didnt need the Calpol, i hope he stays asleep and wakes up his normal happy self :(

Are the second and third set of jabs just as bad or are boosters a bit easier for them?

The first set was hell, but she didn't show any signs for about 48 hours so maybe it was just a quick and hopefully small reaction for your LO. My girl was absolutly fine for every other jab shes had :) Ive heard that alot of others have been awful after the first set but perfect after the others.

Hope he sleeps well and you wont need to get the calpol out

How is he now? Kynon has his today, I'm dreading it :(

Hope he's a bit better today.
I think it was just 3 in 1 jab at eight weeks up here in Scotland although I may be wrong. Emily was fine, a bit sleepy. And she's been the same with all her jabs. I guess I've been lucky.
Here's hoping he's a bit better today? X x x x

He slept until 4am (which is pretty normal). We had a couple of tears at 8.30 but he's OK now and has been playing for an hour and seems pretty happy. His legs are warm where he had the injections but fingers crossed all OK.

Big hug to you and Kynon - its horrible to have to do it but worth it. The needles are so much better than when we were young and he was OK when she put them in and it only took seconds.

Hope LO is feeling better? My LO really suffered with all sets of jabs, and it went on for a few days  Calpol really helped him alot xxx

Glad he's a bit better today. Kynon cried so much it upset me too! He's been sleepy but a moany sleep wanting cuddles.
