Hi, I am new to this so unfortunatly don't know or the abbreviations so this will be a bit of an essay. Me and my husband have been ttc since December and since then my periods have been bang on 28 days and very heavy. My last period was 31st Jan so was due on beginning of last week. However it did not come so done a Tesco home test which come back negative. I then came on Saturday but was bleeding really light and was brown and bity (not clotty) and a pantyliner easily coped. I then noticed my breasts were sore and that I was falling asleep really early every night (before 9 which is not like me) so I thought I would do another test on Tuesday. Did a First Response and it came back with a faint positive, done another of the same test the next day and the same happened. Spent out for a clear blue digital to take wednesday but it errored. So got another Tesco one, done 2 of them and a thin blue line came up but not until around 10 mins so not sure if this counts. Went to see the nurse today and she said that she thinks im prob pregnant and that I should test again in 2 weeks. This is driving me crazy, just dont know what to think and dont want to get excited if I am not. What do you think?? How am I going to cope for 2 weeks without knowing for sure. I have a wedding this weekend, do I have a couple of drinks?? Ahhhhhhhhhh!!!!

No, don't have anything to drink. Personally, I would say you are definitely pregnant. Tescos are renouned for being dodgy and giving false negative results. But FR are very reliable - I got a BFP (big fat positive) at 10DPO on a FR. So if you have had 2 positive FR tests I would sya that you are very much pregnant!

I'd go light on the drinks at the wedding... can't offer any advice on keeping your sanity tho, sorry!

Thanks ladies. I don't know why I am struggling so hard to accept it. Maybe its cause I want it so much I dont want to be wrong. Also when I had my 2 daughters it was straight forward, bang, big pink line for both. The other thing is im still spot bleeding (been about 5 days now) but as I said before it is brown and not much (did not do this last 2 times either), nurse said its nothing to worry about but cant help it. Just have to try not to think about it for 2 weeks, ha, easier said than done!! Will keep you posted!
