just had a play with the doppler and im sure i heard a heart beat! it was like a tiny thud thud thuding! oh had listen and hes like theres not even a baby there the arse

It could quite possibly have been your hearbeat... my doppler couldnt pick up heartbeats until after 10 weeks at least. Your pulse will be picked up easily by your pelvis and also placenta has a pulse. If you find it again count the beats for 15 seconds then times by 4. If about 130/140 its baby xx

This is one of the reasons why I won't get a doppler because I think they too easily pick up your own heartbeat so it's difficult to differentiate (sp) betwee your own and baby's.

I used to easily pick up my hb,use ur free hand to feel ur pulse in ur neck,chances r theyl match. Babys hb is more like a chug/whoosh than a thud xx
