Heartbeat on Friday. Bleeding on Saturday.

We had a perfect scan on Friday morning at 9am. I was 6 weeks and 3 days. Everything was as it should be and baby had a good strong heartbeat.

Saturday night at 7pm, I started to bleed. It was light at first but got heavier. There have been a few small clots too. It appears to have eased off now.

I went to A+E. They took blood and urine but gave me no results. Just asked me to go back to EPAU tomorrow first thing.

I've had no pains but I've miscarried before and this feels the same, just lighter.

Basically I'm clinging on to hope but staying prepared.

I just wanted to share. Not telling my parents till after the scan.

I have NEVER prayed so hard.

On a positive note, I had lite bleeding during week 7 and 8 and two early scans and all was and still is fine.

It's not uncommon! Hoping all is well and try to rest n not to panic too much x

I has a bleed At 6.5 weeks and it was late implantation. I even had a clot

I had hoped they would! They were quite dismissive. I felt neurotic. Told me to go home and rest but then what can they do really?

When I went they took bloods and ursine tests and examined by tummy. They then booked me in a few days later for a scan for reassurance

Hope all goes ok tomorrow for you. I had a light bleed at about 7 weeks, scanned the next day and all ok. Maybe the Internal scan irritated something? Apparently your cervix can be very sensitive.

So sorry you went from such excitement and lovely news to such worry...hopefully it'll just be a bleed that stops and is fine.

I ended up at the hospital with my mc earlier in the year...there's nothing they can do except confirm and then offer surgical help if needed/wanted...but don't put your head in that place until you have a scan.

Ah yes internal cans can cause some bleeding! Thy warned me of that. How heavy is it?

It's not as heavy as my usual period for example but I would call it more than spotting.

It's dark brown. No red, as yet. Clots have stopped too.
