Iv had headaches for over a week now & its really getting to me & making me feel shite.
I never really got any with my first pg is anyone else suffering ?
I heard it's quite common in the first tri but I did get any then...

I keep getting miagraine type headaches, at least 1 or 2 times a week, only ever used to get them when due on, have read it is common in pregnancy but also not sure if it's cause spend so much time on computer!!!

you should check with your doc or midwife though to be on safe side.

hope you feel better soon.

I've been getting headaches too, usually lasting for about an day and a half. I've noticed now that it seems to be once a month and I am wondering if it is the headache I always get for the day or so before my AF. If that's the case I wish my body would hurry up and accept that it is pregnant!

ive been getting really bad headaches this time and when i was pg with my son last time!!

lol typical yourbody holds onto the crap stuff you don't want

I had a really bad headache on one side of my head the other day and I felt really sick and just didn't feel right. My mam told me it was a migraine (OH had said this already but I didnt believe him  )

Its horrible when you cant take anything but paracetamol. Hope you feel better soon

This is my third pregnancy, and I have had headaches all three times. Also true that I suffer from migraines anyway... :wall:

Certainly check with midwife and/or doctor, as it could also relate to blood pressure; on the other hand, ask him or her if you are allowed to take paracetamol in moderate quantities. Studies show that it is not bad for baby, and will help relieve discomfort, but do check first with your doctor, after all, bodies are different.

:D

Hi Duds

Yes! I have had a really bad headache and neck ache at the end of each day for at least a week. I can only assume it is pregnanct related. I wake up in the morning fine, then it creeps up during the day and I crawl upstairs to sleep as it is soo bad at night  Sort of back of my head area and worst if you move too fast. I know it isnt dehysration as I drink gazillions of water

I've had two really bad headaches this week and had a migraine last Sunday. The midwife says that it's hormone related. I just try and get to sleep if I have one as it seems to go when I have woken up. Not all the time though.

I haven't had as many as before I was pregnant which is strange. The ones I have had I think were to do with the pc and not sleeping enough.

Have you tried the rub you can buy to apply to your forehead? It might help.

I was thinking about that, wasn't sure whether it was ok to use in pregnancy though. Will have a look today.

I haven't used mine since I've been pregnant but I'd be interested to know if it is ok Heather. Thanks.

Iv had to resort to taking paracetamol everyday which i really dont like doing but its just so bad, mine also goes down back of my neck.
Sometimes its one sided and sometimes its a rattle type one... i was thinking about that forehead stuff too....

I have MW on weds so will ask her, apprantly it can be to do with bloody pressure...

i had them for two days... round about your time..ahhhhhhh it was the worst pain i had ever felt, like you just wasn't to pull it out...

i just tried to sleep even those that was had enough
