I know it's hormone related but all I seem to do recently is suffer from really severe headaches that just won't ease off, is any one else experiencing this at all? I'm not taking paracetamol by choice but have instead brought 4head as I'm already on daily aspirin and don't want baby absorbing more medication that necessary. Any suggestions?

Tie a tie around ur head, make sure its sitting over ur temples, tie it tight and leave it there til ur headache goes.

I've been doing this for years, u look like rambo, but it works! :) x

ive used the 4head al the way through god knows what ive do without it seems to work for me x

I've been suffering, i've been finding though it means I'm either dehydrated, hungry or tired (usually all three) and tend to go for a lie down, then wake up feeling better.

I like the idea of the tie jayjay ... going to give that a go!

I had terrible headaches in Tri 2 up until about 20 weeks. My midwife said take paracetamol as soon as you feel a headache coming on as it's safe to take in pregnancy as long as ou don't overdose (obviously :-) ) drink 2 litres of water a day and eat a snack high in carbs every 2 hours to keep blood sugar up. I aked about the 4head stuff and as I was previously avoiding taking paracetamol, but she said it contains masses of chemicals and hasn't actually received enough testing to be classed as safe in pregnancy.

I had killer headaches that kept me off work for 3 days. It was bloody awful! You have my sympathies hun

Thanks ladies, luckily it seems to have subsided today woo hoo, I spent the day yesterday either asleep or drinking orange squash lol, oh and eating obviously. Will try the tie theory next time I get a headache x x
