head engaging ..2nd baby

Hi does anyone know if the head engages before labour with the 2nd child .. There is neally a 7 year gap between babies
Its just i have been having quiet a lot of pain down there in the last 2 days..

2nd babies sometimes dont engage until labour, mine (my 2nd too) isnt engaged at all yet...

kelly is right, they only engage when labour starts, they are free to go in and out of pelvis as our pelvis is bigger 2nd time round

mines not engaged either and it's number 2

At my 34 week check bubs was still doing somersaults - at my 36 week check he/she was 2/5ths
Midwife stressed that it was suprising as it'smy 2nd - I spent that night convinced I was about to go into labour
We'll see if there is any change at my 38 week check.
