Isla's almost 12 weeks and her head control is still not great - it's got much better in the last 2 weeks and she is now doing well with tummy time, raising her head up lots but when sitting up, she still wobbles alot and her head goes forward alot.

Is this normal for her age?

i think it they do it in their own time. Noa has always been really strong but my sisters baby is 9 weeks and can only just raise his head when laying on his tummy. She will get there hun, dont worry! XX

I'm having one of those days of worrying about everything! Apparently I was very slow with head control, sitting up, crawling and walking (didn't walk till I was 18 months!), so maybe Isla will be the same!

I wouldnt worry. My friends 18month old only really crawls and has no teeth! Slower developers some ofthem. Sofia is very strong indeed but I started crawling when I was 4 and a half months according to my mum so I'm guessing they are like their mummy's! X

joshua always could hold his head upright from really early but he was about 13 weeks or so, when he would actually lift his head at tummy time. he spent most of it with his head on the floor crying!! haha x

Lizzie's the same! And sometimes she'll hold herself up for a while and then suddenly flop sideways :)

Every baby is different. Tummy time will help loads with her neck muscles x honestly I wouldn't worry. Some babies are quite floppy others aren't :-)
