Hcg levels

So I have now had 3 blood tests. First one showed level of 11, next one showed 16 and then the next was 31.

Had anybody else experienced this during/ after a miscarriage?

I got a bfp and started bleeding a few days later. Mh hcg at that point was 38. It went up and down for 5 weeks before finally falling back to zero.

What's is goin on with you? When did u get ur bfp?

I got my bfp on 31/10/12 and then started spotting on 4/11/12. I was spotting brown blood and then lost red blood for about 3 days and now it is back to brown spotting. The doctors keep making me go for more blood tests, I just wish I knew what was happening x

what have you hcg levels been like since teh 11, 16 and 31?

I'm sorry but it sounds like an early loss, some doctors call is a chemical pregnancy, i hate that phrase though.

The should give you hcg tests till the level is back to zero. They need to do this to rule out an ectopic. In an ectopic the pregnnacy will grow, but will never be viable and the hcg will not double every 48hours as seen in a normal pregnancy.

If numbers are going up still you need to be scanned.
