hiya all sorry i aint been around much, but i have been so busy!!!
heres my birth story anyway
I got up with the children at 6am like i do every other morning, at 6:30 i started getting pains (i just put it down to wind or something), so i carried on with my normal morning tasks at just after 7 the pains were coming every 8-10 mins so i rang my mum and said i think im in labour then rang OH (as he was at work) and told him, before my mum and my oh got there me and my oldest daughter were doing some dancing as i was trying not to think about the pain in front of the children, when my mum and oh got here i went and had a nice bath, which was lovley. when i got out of the bath the contractions were comeing every 2-5 mins so at about 8:30 i said to my mum i think id better go to the hospital, so she rang labour ward to let them know i was on my way there, then she rang an ambalance (as none of us can drive) and they said ring us again when the contractions get worse (wtf they are bad and regular) anyway we ended up getting a cab in the end (the contractions were coming quite fast by then)
When we arrived at the hospital the m/w there examined me and i was 8cm dilated, i asked for gas and air as the contractions were so bad, by 10:15 i was ready to push as i was pushing my m/w turned up (who had delived all my other children even tho she wasnt supposed to be working that day) so she scrubed up and was encougering me to push, she asked my mum if she wanted to catch the baby and she said yes, i was pushing for about 20 mins when Hayden decided to come and my mum caught him, so baby hayden arrived at 10:41am on the 11 April 2007 weighing 7lb 7 1/2oz and he was 54 1/2cm in length
i had no stitches this time and i only used gas and air we came home at 3pm the same day.
