Hi mummys i was just wondering did anyone feel nervous about having your second child and worrying about sharing attention between the 2 and scared about the first one being left out??
My LO is very very close to me and i dont want her to feel pushed out when new baby arrives! x :oooo:

i was ok with my first and second child, but im really worried this time round because i am so close to my youngest, we thought she was the last so i must admit ive spoiled and babied her a bit, also she only stopped breastfeeding a few months ago so shes really clingy with me, i cant even go to the loo without her hanging on to me, so im really hoping shes not going to feel left out when the new baby comes xxxxxxx

I was so worried about how having another would affect Sam, but it's actually been so much easier than I expected. He's so good with Toby, and I think he appreciated the fact that I could get down on the floor and play with him properly again without my big belly getting in the way after Toby was born. It took him a few days to get used to it, but we tried to keep everything as close to how it was before as possible :)

thanku girls it must just be normal to feel like this! My LO is really really close to me bless her but i have lots of plans already to have for when baby arrives :) xx

there is a 7 year age gap between my first 2 kids but this time i am worried about giving the two young ones all the attention they will need. xx

its a bit off tricky one int it but i guess our hearts will just get bigger! xx

i was really worried throughout my whole pregnancy with zander but he fit right in when he arrived x

Im thinking that the baby will be just as important to Rosie - Im not worried, will play it by ear and see what happens, I think the main thing is to include sibling/s as much as possible, I will try to work out a way of communicating to Rosie there there is a baby in my tummy when I get a bump - I think and hope (!!) that it will all be fine :)

Getting them involved in everything definitely helps - when I'm changing Toby Sam helps out by getting me the wipes, nappies etc. He puts a blanket over him when I put him down, turns the music on his bouncer on for him and he loves it all! I also try to make Toby's feeding times all about Sam too - when he sits with me on the sofa and we read a book or something. He also knew that the baby was in my tummy when I was pregnant, and used to kiss it and use my belly button as a doorbell

Hiya,
I'm pretty nervous about this too.
We're just starting to TTC no2, and our DD is very clingy - she's getting better with nursery now though.
I'm so excited about TTC again, but do feel a little guilty for DD.
