I saw my gynaeocologist yesterday and he's put me forward for a lap and dye. He suspects I've most probably got endo and maybe endo in the bowel. I've never had any kind of operation and I know this is silly as it'll only take 20 mins but I'm nervous.

If you've had one can you reassure me!

I can definately reassure you. I had one back in Jan, admittedly the op took about 1 hour 45mins but I felt pretty fine after just a bit sore and bruised for a few days. healed really quickly and was back at work after 2 weeks, i didn't even get the shoulder pain that everyone mentions thats caused by the gas they use.

I am now due to have another one on thursday to sort out some tubal problems, and while i am still dreading it, hopefully it'll go as smoothly as my last one.
